Start the trial

The trial starts when you finish checkout, the last step of setup.

1. On Pick a plan, choose Starter or Growth.
2. Tick the box to agree to the monthly renewal and the Terms.
3. Select Start Starter free or Start Growth free.
4. Add a card at checkout. A card is needed to start the trial, but nothing is charged on it yet.

When checkout finishes, you land back in setup while the plan is confirmed, and Bidhelm opens on its own. If you leave checkout before the end, nothing is charged and you can pick a plan again.

What's included

The trial is the full plan you picked, with the same limits:

From the moment the trial starts, Bidhelm works on your connected accounts the way it does on a paid plan: it makes changes, writes ad drafts, posts on your plan and runs your reports. What it does on its own and what it asks you first is set under Settings › Permissions. See Permissions.

Check your trial

Open Settings › Plan & billing. Under Your plan, the status reads Trial, with the days left and the date before which nothing is charged, for example "Free trial, 8 days left. Nothing is charged before Nov 12."

When the trial ends

The trial turns into a paid plan when it ends. On that day your card is charged the plan's monthly base fee and any add-ons. That day also starts your first billing period, and each period after it runs a month.

The 3% share of ad spend is billed after each period closes, on what was actually spent. Spend during the trial isn't billed: the first billing period starts when the trial ends. See Invoices and payments.

Cancel during the trial

The workspace owner or an admin can cancel from Settings › Plan & billing: select Cancel plan, read what stops, and confirm. If you cancel before the trial ends, you aren't charged. Bidhelm keeps working until the date shown, then stops making changes. See Cancel or delete your account.
