Find the plan
Go to Social in the sidebar and stay on the Posts tab. The Posting plan card in the right-hand column shows the last 7 days of posts, then Posts to, How often, When, Days off and Topics. Select Edit on the card to open Social settings on its Posting plan tab.
Change the plan

- Open Social settings from Edit on the Posting plan card.
- Change what you need. To change the time zone, select the time zone name under Times and pick another.
- Select Save.
Changes apply from the next post. Only owners and admins can save the plan.
Under Topics, Bidhelm may offer topics it read on your website, labelled "Suggested from" and your domain. Select one to add it.
How times and posts a week fit together
A time is a moment a post may go out, not a post. Each week Bidhelm uses as many of your times as How often asks for, spread out across the week. With 3 posts a week and 10 times, the dialog says "Bidhelm posts at 3 of these 10 times a week, spread out."
If you set fewer times than posts a week, the plan can't be met, so Save stays off. Add more times or post less often. The week runs Monday to Sunday in the plan's time zone.

How Bidhelm plans the week
Bidhelm keeps the next 7 days filled to your How often number. When one of the plan's times has nothing queued, it writes a post for it on one of your topics. It never writes more posts than your open times can take.
A week with days off asks for fewer posts: the number is cut to the share of days that are still open. If every time is taken, a post waits with the line "Waiting for a free slot: every posting window is taken." Select Pick a time on it to place it yourself.

Days off
A day off is a whole day when nothing posts, read in the plan's time zone. Use it for holidays, a quiet launch week, or any day you'd rather stay silent.
- Open Social settings and find Days off.
- Select Add a day off. Pick one day, or a first and a last day for a range.
- Select Save.
To lift a day off, remove its chip and save. You can keep up to 180 days off at a time. A day off added here applies to every connected profile.
If posts are already set for a day you're adding, the dialog tells you before you save, for example "1 post set for Mon 26 Oct moves to the next open slot when you save." After saving you see how many moved.
See the plan on a calendar
Select Calendar at the top of Social โบ Posts to switch from List to a grid of one, two or four weeks. Times in the plan with no post yet show as dashed open slots. Days off are striped, marked "Day off", and have no open slots.
Move one post
You don't need to change the plan to move a single post. Open its row in the upcoming list:
- Reschedule picks a new date and time.
- Skip passes on that slot. Nothing goes out, and the post stays on the calendar as skipped.
- Cancel post cancels it.
