Open Memory

Select your workspace name at the top of the sidebar, then Memory. The page has three parts:

• About your business: the facts Bidhelm works from.
• Instructions: the rules it follows, yours and its defaults.
• What it learned: patterns from your account's results.

Use the chips at the top to show All, About, Instructions, Learned or Turned off, or type in Search memory. The box on the right, Ask, or tell it to remember, opens a chat.

The facts about your business

The About card has one row per fact: what you sell, your typical customer, your voice, your competitors and more. Each fact shows where it came from.

To correct a fact:

1. Select Update on its row. A chat opens on that fact.
2. Say what should change.
3. Bidhelm shows you the new version before it saves anything.

The business row has Edit basics instead, a form for your business name, website, phone, monthly spend and writing voice. Changing the website asks you to confirm first.

Instructions

Instructions are the rules Bidhelm follows everywhere, like "never restart paused ads" or "no discount framing". You add them by saying "always…", "never…" or "ask me before…" in any chat, or by typing them on this page. See Give Bidhelm an instruction for how they work and how to change them.

What Bidhelm learns

Bidhelm learns from your own results and checks each lesson again as new data comes in. The first ones show after about a week. Each row shows:

• The pattern, in one sentence. For an ads pattern, select it to see the evidence behind it.
• Where it applies, its numbers, when it was last checked and when it's checked next.
• How sure Bidhelm is: Strong, Emerging or Early. Strong ones guide decisions. Early ones are watched until there's more to go on.

The list is sorted strongest first, ten to a page.

Turn a learning into an instruction, or turn it off

• Make it an instruction adds the learning to your instructions, so Bidhelm follows it as a standing rule. It's a button on Strong learnings and in the More actions menu (⋯) on the others. A learning becomes an instruction once. After that, edit its words in Instructions like any other.
• Not useful turns a learning off. It leaves the page and stays out for 90 days. Select Undo in the message that appears if you change your mind.

A learning can't be edited in place. To change what it says, make it an instruction, then edit the instruction.
